Following on from the sell out success of previous retreats Breathing Space has decided to offer a series of Day Retreats.  They will be an opportunity for you to take a little Breathing Space for yourself. A self-compassion break. To meditate, to mindfully move to relax and just be for a day. A time to allow the mind to settle, to soothe the body and gain clarity and peace. A space to breathe from the stresses of life.

We plan to run the days from the Cedar Centre in the beautiful and peaceful village of Castor a stones throw from Peterborough. We think it is a perfect space in which you can pause for the day to contemplate, meditate and reflect. Helping you to ease the tension from your body and mind . We will release dates over the coming months and really hope you will be able to join us on one of those dates. Taking care of your Mind

Sara is a highly experienced professionals who has run a number of successful retreats. She has designed the self-compassion day retreats to help you find a little space in which to mindfully pause. To meditate with others, relax, reflect and settle your mind from the stresses and strains of this 24/7 world. So that you can recharge ready to step back into your life with energy and clarity.

Taking care of your Body

The day retreats are an opportunity to reconnect the body and mind through meditation and mindful movement. The body often holds a lot of tension from the stresses and strains of life. This is a chance to give the body some attention. The movement is slow and focused its aim to ease away the tension in the body helping it to feel soothed and relaxed.

Taking care of your Soul

Mediation helps you hear your souls whispers. The space will offer you the time for mindful thought and reflection. A chance to mindfully be with yourself. The retreats are small so that you can relax and unwind in a safe supportive environment and connect with others of a like mind.


The self-compassion day retreat is an opportunity to step away from the demands of every day life. A breathing space to reconnect your mind and body. Soothing away tension giving you clarity and an opportunity to relax and recharge.

 Sara is delivering this series of day retreats.  She is a Mindfulness Teacher and passionate about helping others to gain a sense of well-being and flourishing. The aim of the day retreat is to give people a chance to pause from the busyness of life. To kindly hold people as they explore mindful ways into releasing the tension in their minds and bodies. To provide guidance and opportunities for reflecting how they might take this forward into their lives to support their well-being and the well-being of those with whom they share their lives.

We have found a beautiful peaceful location at the Cedar Centre in the village of Castor. Tucked away in the beautiful grounds of the village church it is a stones throw from Peterborough.We feel it is a space that provides that feeling of pause. A space that echos and resonates with the idea of a Breathing Space. It has parking, great facilities and disabled access.
